How To Fax Using Gmailfax.net
Google Corporation continues to develop exciting tools and features for Gmail users.
Due to Google’s incredible popularity, many Internet services companies such as Ring Central Fax and Rapid Fax have made their services Google compatible.
If you are not currently a Gmail user, sign up for a free Google Gmail account today. As a business owner, a Gmail account is an invaluable tool. Now, you can use your Gmail account to send and receive faxes.
Gmailfax.net has put together a brief guide to help you begin using your Gmail account to fax and receive documents.
In addition to starting a Gmail account, a faxing service is needed. Gmailfax.net has reviewed several reputable companies that are compatible with Google. Most of the companies offer a free 30-day trial.
In addition, all the companies offer reasonably priced plans to meet the needs of an individual or business. If you are not completely satisfied, you can cancel the service within the 30-days and your account will not be charged.
Getting Started with Gmail Faxes
1. Log onto to Google Gmail and sign up for a new account. The extension is @gmail.com and if you like, you can use your business name as your email address.
To confirm your registration, a confirmation is sent to your cell phone number. Once you have received your confirmation, your Gmail account is active and ready to use.
2. You can choose one of the fax services Gmailfax.net has reviewed, or you can search for another fax provider. Be sure you choose a fax provider that offers a free trial period. This way, if you are dissatisfied with the service you may cancel before you incur any charges.
3. When you sign up with a fax service, you want to provide your Gmail account address. This will allow you to use your Gmail account to send and receive faxes. Once your fax service account is activated, you can begin sending and receiving faxes.
4. When you are ready to fax a document, log into your Gmail account. Click on the Compose Mail button. In the “send to” box, enter the phone number and extension of the fax provider.
For example, if you signed up with Ring Central, you will type the phone number followed by @rcfax.com. It will look like this:
5. Next, you will attach your document as you normally would attach a document in an email. If you want to fax a message, you simply begin typing the message as if you were typing an email.
6. After you have attached your document or typed your fax message, you click on the send button. That is it! Your fax is sent and you are done.
You may be tempted to search for a free fax service. However, Gmailfax.net has researched the claims for free service. Unfortunately, none of the services are free at this time. Try Gmailfax.net, you will not look back.
